  •  WHAT IS A LIVE EDITS CLINIC?

It's a new live editing class that:

    1) Offers an edit of 1-page (250 words) of your writing

    2) Is also a DIAGNOSTIC TOOL for your writing.

HOW DOES THE 'DIAGNOSTIC' PART WORK?

During the Live Edits Clinic, you'll be invited to add your opinion in the chat to each edit that I (or experts Kim* or Olesya*) make.

But don't worry - making comments is optional, not mandatory!

If I make an edit and you don't understand why, that reveals a 'rule' of editing that's new to you.

You can then decide if you're excited to study that rule of craft.

WHAT ELSE WILL THE LIVE EDITS CLINIC DO FOR YOU?

Come to clinic or watch the replay and this will allow you to start following an individual, tailor-made curriculum that's perfect for you.

You can decide precisely what skills you want to acquire, and go directly to the video in the membership (when it goes live) that teaches that skill.

So, for example, if you want to learn more about 'Show, Don't Tell', you can go straight to that video.

Most videos are between 5 and 15 minutes.

No more wasting time or sitting through lessons you don't need!

Together these courses will give you the essential, solid foundation all writers need.

IF I WANT TO STUDY SOMETHING, WHERE DO I GO?

In the membership area, look on the left for the instructional videos including:

  • Short Story Ideas in an Hour: How the Pros Come Up With Endless Ideas

  • How to Revise Your Fiction: The Fundamentals All Fiction and Memoir Writers Need

Working for publishing houses and platforms such as Ballentine, Leisure Books, Orison, and CreateSpace as well as independent authors, Kim has edited nearly four hundred novels, memoirs, works of nonfiction, and children’s books.
